This book is written with the full understanding that educating kids is a continuing process. Amended legislation, expanding case law, medical discoveries, and educational technologies are significant influences that effect change. A maturity has developed in both regular and special education that provides a substantial understanding of how to teach almost anyone. To continue speculation about what to do with challenging students may provide a level of intellectual stimulation, but will certainly hamper us from serving them effectively.
